Abstract
Radiation therapy is vital for treating many cancers, with about 50% of patients receiving it. However, 95% experience skin injuries from high radiation doses, leading to issues from redness to severe ulcers. These injuries cause significant discomfort and anxiety. This case study (of one patient) examines using hypochlorous acid (HOCl) to treat acute radiation injury of the lower eyelid skin.
